Official Rules: The Hamilton Jewelers Diamond Dash event will be held on October 4th, 4:00 pm at the Chamber of Commerce in Mount Pleasant, Texas. The Diamond Dash is an amazing opportunity for someone to win a diamond worth $5000. The Diamond Dash winner will be presented with this diamond during the after-dash event at Hamilton Jewelers in downtown Mount Pleasant between 6:00 and 7:30 pm the day of the event. The Diamond Dash is a city-wide scavenger hunt sponsored by Hamilton Jewelers and the Mount Pleasant/Titus County Chamber of Commerce. In this high-tech hunt, all of the clues and riddles will be sent via text message to your cell phone. Any cell phone, any model, on any carrier with picture taking capabilities can play (cell must be currently activated and have working phone number). Each correct answer is given a certain number of points. After two hours the team with the most points wins the prize. EVENT GUIDELINES

EACH TEAM CONSISTS OF TWO PEOPLE, A “TEAM CAPTAIN” AND A “TEAM NAVIGATOR.” BOTH TEAM MEMBERS MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS TO PARTICIPATE. PARTICIPANTS CANNOT USE OR RECEIVE HELP WITH TRANSPORTATION FROM ANYONE OUTSIDE THEIR TEAM DURING THE RACE, EITHER ON FOOT OR IN ANY TYPE OF VEHICLE. PARTICIPANTS MUST SIGN A HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT PRIOR TO THE EVENT. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE RULES MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION, AND ARE AT THE SOLE DESCRESSION OF THE MOUNT PLEASANT/TITUS COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
