Combination Marks This logotype incorporate both text and a symbol and is the most commonly used logotype. Emblem type Logos (Text with the Symbol) This type involves placing text inside of a symbol so that the two are practically inseparable. This type is the most common choice of an official badge or seal, for government and political organizations as well as sports teams. They are also used by well-known private companies like Starbucks Coffee and Harley Davidson.

Abstract Logos This type is very similar to Brandmark type of logos but this logotype focus on an abstract representation of the brand. Famous logos include the BP Starburst logo, the Pepsi Circle and the stripy Adidas flower. Abstract logos allow you to create something truly unique to represent the company brand. Mascot Logos This type is often colorful, sometimes cartoonish, but most always FUN. This type works best if you want your company to be represented by a MASCOT / FIGURE / SPOKESMAN.
