Andso,VineHillHardware cametobe,firstopeningits doorsMay8,1948.

BillSr.continuedtorunthe businessuntilhissonsDavid, DennisandBrucesucceeded himin1967.Thebrotherswent ontogrowthebusinessover thenext30yearstosixstores andevenstartedatruckaccessorybusiness,AceTruckbox Center.The90’sandearly 2000’sweremetwithalotof lossfortheWygalfamilyasthe

familymournedthepremature lossofbothersBruceandDavid aswellasthepassingofBillSr. andElva.Denniscontinued tocarrythecompanyforward intheirwakewiththehelp ofGeneralManager,Wilma Hawkinsandhisson,Bill,who waslearningtheropesofthe business.EventuallyBilltook overthebusinessin1998.In 2002,theprefix“Bill’s”was addedto“AceHardware”as atributetoBillSr.andasan identifieroffamilyprideand Bill’sAceHardware’sdedication toitscustomers.
