I was introduced to the game of golf at the age of five by my dad. By the time I was about 10, most days he would drop me off at the golf course on his way to work and pick me up on his way back home. He would give me $5.00 for some snacks and I would walk anywhere from 27-36 holes, with some range and putting sessions 24

in between. When I was 15, I had my first job on the grounds crew at Pomme de Terre Golf Course in Morris, MN. The first day on the job consisted of a weed whip, gas can, and no cart.
