Waigani National Court Complex Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea

Meinhardt is engaged in this $125 million project, for designing and delivering buildings to house the supreme, appeal and national courts in the PNG capital. It is proposed that the existing building – a building of significant cultural architectural significance – be retained, refurbished and incorporated into the new complex. It will provide 5 courtrooms. The new building, which includes High, Medium & Low Security Zones will provide all remaining services including secure entry for public and staff, court registries, library, cashier, offices, meeting rooms, a new Supreme Court and 14 new Court of Appeal and National Courtrooms.
