WELCOME THE BATH PROPERTY AWARDS ARE HERE
B
usiness starts with a conversation. And each year the hubbub of conversation at the Bath Property Awards attest to the vibrancy of this sector – and the amount of business that is done here, partnerships that are forged and the sheer interconnectedness of this sector. Property matters. And it matters more in Bath than in most other places. It matters professionally and personally – how we live, how we work and experience Bath daily, and how exactly we navigate the city from our base. It matters practically – where our companies are based, what retail and office space there is, how the city houses and encourages clever expanding enterprises and how working from home affects all. And it matters aesthetically. We are all the beneficiaries of extraordinary creativity that has bequeathed a visual legacy that enriches all our lives, daily. S
iân Lloyd is a national TV presenter, experienced awards host and conference chair. A popular journalist and broadcaster, Siân regularly presents BBC Breakfast (BBC One), The news slot on Marr (BBC One) and is a correspondent for BBC network news. Siân also works across other genres and has co-presented Crimewatch Roadshow (BBC One) for the past three years. Last year she fronted two documentaries for BBC Wales - Siâns Real North Wales and Siâns Work Life Balance showcased her journalistic skills in a more informal way. Siân began her TV and Radio career in Wales presenting BBC Wales Today (BBC One Wales) and the drive-time radio programme Good Evening Wales on BBC Radio Wales. Siân still regularly works in radio, for Radio 4’s Today and PM programmes. Last year she was appointed Wales Correspondent for BBC Network news making her the face and voice of stories from Wales for national TV and radio programmes.

reg Ingham co-founded and owns MediaClash with his wife Jane. MediaClash is a media business established in 2006 which publishes the leading south west magazines, Bath Life and Bristol Life. It produces nearly 100 events a year, led by the Bath Life Awards, Bath Property Awards and equivalents in Bristol, Cardiff and Exeter, plus conferences and networking lunches. It also runs EntreConf, the region’s leading conference for entrepreneurs and also the EntreConf Awards. Additionally, MediaClash organises and promotes the much-loved Bath Boules on behalf of the Boules Trustees. He founded and runs Creative Bath; has advised a diverse range of media, tech and legal companies; chaired the Theatre Royal Bath, starting its Creative Fund and was previously the chief exec of Bathbased Future Publishing.
