Lake Murray Events The biggest event at Lake Murray each year is the Fourth of July Independence Day Celebration capped by a huge fireworks show at night. The show is spectacular with fireworks being set off at two locations on the lake. This is the most crowded day and night on the lake, so please exercise real caution.
