Dutchess is home to the Anderson Center for Autism, a valuable and compassionate resource that provides education, support and outreach services, and information aimed at delivering assistance and increasing overall autism awareness. Dutchess County has been designated by Anderson as the first Autism Supportive County in New York State, and the Village of Rhinebeck has become certified as an Autism Supportive Community. Many attractions within our destination are striving to be more accessible and many have created Autism Supportive Environments through training by Anderson.
