DAZZLING BLUE waters offsetting the
jagged cliffs of Capri, brightly lit sunflower fields in Siena and the ruins of ancient Rome—is there any place in the world more romantic than Italy? Sweethearts Justin and Megan certainly don’t seem to think so as the two share a love of Italian culture, art and, most importantly, each other. On a study abroad program in college, they visited Florence with their alma mater and immediately fell in love with the enchantment of the countryside. The only thing that could possibly be sweeter than vacationing in Italy is marrying your beloved there. And so, their love story follows in true
storybook fashion: amidst rolling hills and sapphire skies, Justin and Megan said “I do” in the Tuscan countryside.
THE INSPIRATION Being an introverted
couple with an outgoing family, Megan and Justin knew they would have to find a way to combine the two sides in order to dream up the perfect fête. The trip of a lifetime for the extroverts became a charmingly intimate getaway for the soonlyweds and a destination wedding was settled. “Italy was a complicated choice because it is so far away, but the more we thought about it, the more the complications seemed worthwhile,” explains Megan.
