1) How old are you and where are you from? I’m 20 and I’m from Palermo, in the sunny Sicily, Italy. 2) When did you first start photography? I started exactly 4 years ago (August 2007) in a totally casual way. Sometimes I get scared about the idea that I could have possibly never discovered this passion, which is now the biggest part of my life and will be so also in the future. 3) How would you describe your style? Youthful and bright. What I look for is beauty and harmony above all. I love sprinkles of light, beautiful, innocent looking but sensual girls, hair moving with wind. And flowers. I do love flowers in photography and I love them in everyday life. 4) Do you often plan your shoots? If we talk about fashion photography, 100%. But I’ve also made some reportage photography, and of course you can’t plan almost anything in that case. But when I plan, I enjoy it a lot. It’s the most important part of the creative process, I think. Nothing random for me! I always bring a notebook with me, so I can just write/draw some ideas I don’t want to forget. And of course, talking to the team (make up artist, hairstylist, stylist etc) weeks before the final shooting is VERY useful, everyone has to contribute to the creative process. 5) What do you want to express through your photos? Like I said before, I have a very youthful approach to photograhy. I’m an aesthete, extreme lover of beauty. I look for the right composition, intense expression of the model and the right tones. I want to share some grace and elegance with the world, I find it very important to form people’s aesthetic taste. I agree when they say “Beauty will say the world” and it can come also from the industry, why not.
