Learning at Northwest Maritime Center The schooner Adventuress motors toward the Northwest Maritime Center dock at Point Hudson. NWMC hosts a variety of events and activities year-round, from the Spring Boating Symposium in March to the Wooden Boat Festival in September. Classes at the center’s Pilothouse Learning Center benefit from a sophisticated marine navigation simulator, and NWMC offers an ever-expanding lineup of diverse maritime programs for youth and adults.
