Everyone is falling for Summer by Adrienne Glenn This local bay area model has had a career of great success within the plus size industry; since 2007 when she started her career by modeling for the plus size clothing giant Torrid, she has been taking the modeling world by storm. Her lovely golden locks and California surfer girl looks can also quickly morph into a stunning high fashion profile, this is the making of a great and successful model. Features in numerous magazines, walking many runways, and striking poses for some leading clothing companies are just a few of her accomplishments. Part of Sumer Noelle’s success, is a result of her love for the world of fashion world and her desire to see more naturally sized women a part of it. Sumer tells us, “I really wanted to see more women like me on the pages of the fashion magazines that I bought each month and to ultimately be a part of a movement to change the popular opinion that only women that are under a size 6 are beautiful and desirable.”

When asked what she likes most about being a model, she says, “It allows me to see and appreciate my beauty. I’m a wife and a mom of two amazing sons. Having that role is so rewarding; it’s the best job in the world. But it’s really nice to get to bring out another side of myself. I’m not only someone’s mom, or someone’s wife. I’m a woman, I’m beautiful, I’m sexy, I’m dynamic, I’m creative, I’m adventurous. Modeling does that for me…allows me to be something else for a little while.” Now that she has conquered this coast by working with major companies such as Torrid, Jill Alexander, Igigi, Sonsi, Eliza Parker, Macy’s, Chan.nel Karama, Levi’s, and Monif C she dreams of bigger and better opportunities. “I love where I’m at right now, but I’d love the chance to work with new clients, perhaps in New York or internationally.
