Prunus 'Goza-no-ma-nioi' Description: Tree broad and vase-shaped, or umbrella-shaped, to 7 m. Color of the young foliage bronze brown, to brown red. Serration aristate. Stipules much furcated, 1520 mm long. Corymbose inflorescence, with two to five flowers. Length of peduncles ca. 2.5 cm. Length of pedicels 2.02.5 cm. Flowers in bud with a pinkish hue; completely opened flowers are pure white, but show a red shade in the heart long before fading. Flower 4.24.8 cm in diameter, opening to a loose cup shape. Blossoms have a strong, sweet fragrance, reminiscent of crushed almonds. Petals five to six or even up to eight, with three or up to five petaloids, round or oval, slightly emarginate at the top, 1820 mm long, 1920 mm wide. There is
