Shepherd's Pie About The Blarney Stone Blarney Stone Public House is located at 715 Caroline Street, only a few short steps from its sister store, Irish Eyes Fine Gift Imports. The Blarney Stone is a relatively new downtown restaurant, having opened their doors in December of 2007. The building that the restaurant is housed in however, was built in 1827. The Blarney Stone is the Irish Pub that Fredericksburg has waited for since the days of the Civil War, when many young Irishmen gave their lives at the Battle of Fredericksburg, almost 150 years ago. They specialize in authentic Irish food and drink, including the Irish whiskey, Guinness and beer that have made Ireland famous for centuries. The Blarney Stone is the place to come if you’re looking for some Irish hospitality, the kind that only native Irish can offer.

“Very Tasty!” “Will Be Back!”

Review The Trolley Tour brought us to The Blarney Stone for the Main Entree. We were served a very generous portion of Shepherd’s Pie. One diner commented, “Very tasty, will be back! Service was great with a friendly smile.” Another commented, “Food was very tasty.” Other comments were; “Sheppard’s Pie was very good. I like the home cooked taste.” “I would like to come back and try more items on the menu, very filling!”
