Soups & Sauces BBQ Sauce Makes 3½ Cups 2 cups ketchup 1 cup water ½ cup apple cider vinegar 5 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar 5 tablespoons granulated sugar 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce ½ tablespoon freshly ground black pepper ½ tablespoon onion powder ½ tablespoon ground mustard

In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 1 hour and 15 minutes, stirring frequently. Adapted from “The Neelys’” Food TV show Edith Shepherd
