Soups & Sauces Vegetable Burger Soup Makes 3 Cups ½ pound ground beef 16-ounce can stewed tomatoes 8-ounce can tomato sauce 2 cups water 10 ounce package frozen mixed vegetables ½ package (¼ cup) onion soup mix ½ teaspoon sugar (optional)

Cook beef in a heavy 3-quart saucepan until browned, stirring to crumble; drain off drippings. Stir in remaining ingredients, and bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat; simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Joyce Dunmire
