Beef

Beef Casserole Serves 4 to 6 1 pound ground beef 2 tablespoons raw rice salt and pepper to taste 1 large potato, sliced into chunks 1 3 â „ cup chopped onion 1 3 â „ cup chopped green pepper 2 medium carrots, sliced thin 1 can tomato soup 1 can water

Put meat in bottom of well greased casserole. Wash rice and sprinkle on top of meat. Add seasonings, then potato, then onion and pepper with carrots last. Mix tomato soup with water and pour over the top of the other ingredients. Cover and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Remove cover and cook 15 minutes longer and brown. Carmen Boatwright
