FLAME RETARDANT
PROTECTIVE CLOTHING HEAT AND FLAME. LIMITED FLAME SPREAD MATERIALS AND MATERIAL ASSEMBLIES This standard specifies requirements for the limited flame spread properties of
materials and material assemblies used in protective clothing.
PROTECTIVE CLOTHING LIVE WORKING. PROTECTIVE CLOTHING AGAINST THE THERMAL HAZARDS OF AN ELECTRIC ARC. This part of this standard specifies methods to test material and garments intended for use in heat- and flame-resistance clothing for workers exposed to electric arc. The test is intended to simulate an accident with an
electric arc in a low voltage installation. The material test is used to determine thermal insulation and risk of skin injury, and to ensure that the garment can still be used after these tests.
PROTECTIVE CLOTHING ELECTROSTATIC PROPERTIES EN 1149-5 specifies material and design requirements for electrostatic dissipative protective clothing, used as part of a total earthed system, to avoid incendiary discharges.
