Waterloo Estate Redevelopment – Community Garden: Open Day Saturday 22nd July from 11am until 2pm
The Joint Venture partners, Havering Council and Wates, have created a new community garden project with local residents, on a part of the meanwhile use space on the former Waterloo Estate.
We would therefore like to invite you to attend the opening of the Community Garden, where you be able to see the garden, which we will be formally handing over to residents manage.
Members of staff from both Havering Council and Wates will be in attendance, along with Nomadic, the specialist provider that has helped to develop the garden with residents.
There will be activities on the day, also the Church will be holding their Summer Fete on the same day.
The Community Garden WhatsApp group will remain active once we have handed over the garden to the residents. If you would like to join the group, please message me on 07976 539160.
As requested at the Cotleigh Resident meeting, prior to the garden opening, we will be doing a walk around of the works going on at Waterloo and Cotleigh Road to see if there are any issues we need to deal with.
If you would like to join us for the walk around please email regeneration@havering.gov.uk so we can monitor numbers and meet us at 10am outside the garden gates on Cotleigh Road.
