Decision Notice was issued in November 2021 – full planning permission now granted

Demolition will be completed by March 2022

Spring and summer 2022 will consist of enabling works prior to main construction starting

Continued deconstruction of existing buildings – remaining buildings to be demolished by March 2022

Installation of pile mats in advance of construction works commencing in late 2022

Archaeological excavations by Museum of London Archaeologists have concluded

H AV E R I N G ESTATE REGENERATION WORKING HOURS

Monday – Friday: 8am – 6pm

Saturdays: 8am – 1pm

No working Sundays or Bank Holidays

Staff may begin to arrive on site before these times and leave afterwards depending on the days activity, however no noisy works will take place outside of these hours. Staff arrival may be staggered due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Garages on boundary removed in early December 21 and replaced by garden fencing

New fencing at the rear of Cotleigh Road installed after garages demolition


H AV E R I N G ESTATE REGENERATION ROAD CLOSURES •

Queen St South has been temporarily closed save for specific access for residents

St Andrews Rd South currently closed due to demolition works and will be reassessed later this year

Works to the bell mouth of St Andrews Rd and London Rd due in the summer


H AV E R I N G ESTATE REGENERATION NOISE AND VIBRATION •

Specialist monitors have been strategically placed around the site to detect vibration or noise above agreed levels with LBH

We reduced the size of the excavator working closest to Cotleigh Rd and waste has been moved to a central location to avoid the use of the hydraulic breaker close to the boundary

We changed the methodology of the piling probe to reduce vibration following feedback from residents


H AV E R I N G ESTATE REGENERATION SUMMARY OF PREVIOUS COMPLAINTS Since the start of demolition we have received 59 complaints and the common themes are: 1. Dust 2. Noise & Vibration 3. UKPN works 4. Pests


H AV E R I N G ESTATE REGENERATION APPROPRIATION •

The appropriation process for Phase 1 is soon to conclude

The public advertisement period has now expired and no objections were received

The Council are now considering appropriating the land (in blue) in preparation for development
