Ice Bleeds, Hand dyed silk fabrics, organza fabric, 16 x 20 inches, 2015 I was inspired by a picture in National Geographic of the Taylor Glacier in Antarctica. While the red water seeping from the glacier is due to microbes in an underground lakes, Global warming is real and as the polar ice caps melt, the earth is left exposed and wounded. What are we leaving for our grandchildren and their children? 133
