McLennan Community College (MCC) is a public two-year college that offers general twoyear associate degrees as well as one- and two-year specialized training that prepares graduates to go straight into the workforce. The College was established in 1965 and was the first junior college in Texas to incorporate the word “community” in its name. The scenic 215-acre campus is located adjacent to Cameron Park and the Bosque River with a diverse and vibrant population of about 8,500 students per semester.

MCC offers more than 140 degrees, certificates, and occupational skills awards in health professions, business, emergency services, human services, performing arts, liberal arts, and STEM. Master’s and doctoral degrees are also available.

MCC’s vibrant and active student body participates in frequent campus activities, student organizations, community service, and special enrichment opportunities. The College also improves the lives of the entire community with a full range of continuing education courses for lifelong learners, educational opportunities for area businesses, and free community events such as guest lectures and concerts. Approximately 800 people work at MCC, including around 250 faculty members.

MCC’s affordable tuition and fees can reduce the cost of a college degree by thousands of dollars. For more information, visit MCC’s website at McLennan.edu.
