The city of Hewitt has been marked by growth since its founding in the late 1800s—from a small farming community to a city full to the brim with loyal residents and growing businesses. This city has proven to be a place where people can cultivate families, build businesses, create jobs, retire, and even vacation. Whatever season of your life, Hewitt is a destination location.

The Greater Hewitt Chamber of Commerce has a great deal to do with this success. Its amazing staff members, along with faithful volunteers do an incredible job of making sure that new Hewitt residents get connected in order to make this city their home. Our signature events throughout the year bring current residents and businesses together for fun, cooperative community-building. We make sure that all businesses in the greater Hewitt area are well informed of networking opportunities and business-building education meetings. The Chamber provides various advertising opportunities so that local businesses can reach area residents.

The Greater Hewitt Chamber's staff, volunteers and directors are extremely privileged to give back by serving several local organizations, including Christian Women’s Job Corp, Hallelujah Food Pantry, Hunger Free Midway ISD, Midway ISD Education Foundation, Hewitt Lions and Hewitt Kiwanis Clubs, and Caritas of Waco. Looking back over the past year, 2021 was very unique. Greater Hewitt area residents have experienced illness, fear and loss due to the ongoing pandemic. It is important to acknowledge the endurance, determination and even growth of the citizens that live and work in the greater Hewitt area. The Greater Hewitt Chamber of Commerce is forward-thinking and proud to offer endless benefits to our members, while being mindful of the safety of our community.

The City of Hewitt was founded during a unique time, and its leaders forged ahead to build this wonderful community we enjoy today. As we enter 2022—the Greater Hewitt Chamber of Commerce is committed more than ever to cultivate a community

where everyone can experience prosperity and continued growth in the year ahead.
