Rundlicher Kopf einer jungen Frau, das vorne offene Haar mit Mittelscheitel, auf der Kalotte waagerechte Zöpfe, hinten zwei Haarsträhnen. Unter dem Kinn zwei Halsketten. North Africa, 290 - 320 A.D. Rounded head of a young woman with elaborate hairdress and necklace. The handle and few tiny splinters are missing, otherwise intact.
107 • Römisches Gefäß in Gestalt eines Satyrkopfes. Nordafrika, 3. - 4. Jh. n. Chr. H 19,4cm, B 9,4cm. Terra Sigillata. Formgetöpfert. Plastische, einhenkelige Flasche mit konischem Hals. Das Gesicht des Satyrs weist buschige Augenbrauen, tiefe Augenfalten, blanke Zähne und einen gegabelten Kinnbart auf. Im Haar sitzt eine Tänie und über den Ohren jeweils eine Blüte. Kleine Absplitterung an der Mündung, sonst intakt. 3.000,–

Roman mouldmade one-handled figured bottle in form of a satyr-head. Terra sigillata. North Africa, 3rd - 4th century A.D. The face of the satyr with bushy eyebrowns, bare teeth, and forked chin beard. In the hair a tainia and above the ears blossoms. A splinter of the mouth is missing, otherwise intact.
