On the corpus between two maeanders two women standing with outstrechted arms and looking to each other, the right one holding a mirror. On the shoulder black palmettes. Mouth is broken and reattached, few little splinters are missing, otherwise intact.
17 Attische Lekythos. Um 450 v. Chr. H 25,9cm, Ø 8,5cm, Ø Fuß 5,2cm. Rotfigurig. Form mit zylindrischem Corpus. Auf dem Corpus steht ein Jüngling mit erhobener Rechten, der mit Chlamys, Petasos und Stiefel bekleidet ist und eine Lanze hält, neben einem Altar(?). Darüber ein Mäander. Auf der Schulter ein Fries aus alternierenden Palmetten. Glanzton an einigen Stellen etwas verrieben, sonst intakt. 5.000,– Provenienz: Ex Sammlung J. P., Westfalen. Erworben zwischen 1981 und 1986 bei Anne Roselt, Köln.

18 • Attische Lekythos. 470 - 460 v. Chr. H 18,6cm, Ø 6,5cm, Ø Fuß 4,6cm. Rotfigurig. Form mit zylindrischem Corpus. Auf dem Corpus zwischen zwei Eierstäben eine junge Frau mit Alabastron vor einem Sitzmöbel. Auf der Schulter ein Fries aus alternierenden Palmetten. Farbe an ganz wenigen kleinen Stellen etwas verrieben, sonst intakt. 1.500,–
Provenienz: Aus der Sammlung Dr. B.M., Schweiz; ex Leo Spik Auktion Berlin 639, 2011, 1841; aus dem Besitz von Dr. Hans B. Jessen (1909 2007), ehem.
