a picture of what raw feminine power and determination look, feel and sound like,” Hannah says.

The album features Kiszka on bass, keys and organ, while fellow Greta Van Fleet member, Danny Wagner, holds tempo on drums. The 10 songs on The Prize serve as a rock ‘n’ roll roadmap to a crossroads that Wicklund has been unknowingly gravitating towards for over a decade.

GRAMMY-nominated global star Demi Lovato has released “Cool for the Summer (Rock Version)” The new version features edgier re-recorded vocals and updated production from Warren ‘Oak’ Felder, Keith “Ten4” Sorrelles, and Alex Nice, giving the summer anthem a newfound intensity. “Cool for the Summer” was originally

The release marks the second signature song Demi she released “Heart Attack (Rock Version)” in celebration of the original track’s 10-year anniversary. Demi performed rock versions of both tracks on her 2022 HOLY FVCK Tour which was in support of her album of the same name. The critically acclaimed HOLY FVCK, which featured singles “29,” “SUBSTANCE,” and SKIN OF MY TEETH,” saw Demi return to her rock and poppunk roots and included features from Yungblud, Royal & The Serpent, and Dead Sara. The album debuted at #1 on three separate Billboard charts.

Memphis based Kate Teague returns with her single “Poison Mind” and her summer EP, Loose Screw out on August 11. On today’s track, Teague’s haunting vocals window into the thoughts that keep her up at night.

“Poison Mind” is deceptively soothing, with lush guitar and subtle synth pads. However, once you dig into the lyrics you see how contrastingly dark and torturous they are, in a way that’s achingly monotonous and relatable - boiling up to a climax of “Should I quit? Should I have kids,” sung from deep in her chest in a voice that at times is reminiscent of Lana Del Rey in it’s airiness, and at times of Alanis Morissette in its scathing power.

Video director of “Poison Mind,” Joshua Cannon (Bass Drum of Death, Bailey Bigger), continues, “I was so excited when Kate shared early mixes of her new EP with me. It immediately felt cinematic — every track was worthy of a video. We landed on ‘Poison Mind,’ and from the jump Kate had such strong ideas of how to visualize the insidious nature of anxiety, which I related to deeply as someone who struggles with that. It was a joy helping to bring her concept to life, and really just a dream collaboration across the board.”

Over time, they’ve come to realize that their connection was predestined and not merely a coincidence. The song speaks to the emotional journey of forming a deep bond, presence. Faye Fantarrow Releases 7 Song Ep

U.K. singer, songwriter and rising star Faye Fantarrow released her seven-song EP, AWOL, via Dave Stewart’s video for one of the tracks, “The Weekend.” Filmed in Fantarrow’s hometown of Sunderland, the vivid music video for the contagious song was directed by Myles Docherty, “THE WEEKEND.”

Stewart adds: “‘The Weekend’ is another unique lyric from Faye; just telling how it is for so many hard working people here in Britain. Her vocal delivery sounds so effortless and her melodies are infectious, as usual. We had an amazing time making the whole EP and ‘The Weekend’ speaks about having a celebration in the face of adversity. It’s a very poignant song for so many, including Faye Fantarrow who is a true hero in my eyes.”

Welcome back everyone as we dive into another awesome chapter of TechnoBeat! I hope at this point you’ve heard all about Illenium but if you haven’t, now is your chance to go and check him out on July 14 at Barclay’s Center along with support from William Black and Annika Wells. I recently got to see him at his special Trilogy Event at Mile High Stadium in Denver where he sold 50,000 tickets to his premium stadium event. Illenium is a pro when it comes to electronic production and live performances. He produces a somewhat poppy and emotionally charged style of music, allowing the listener to tap in deeply to the lyrics and melo- and some of his music has gotten many people through some hard times in their lives. However, when he plays live, he takes this style and makes custom remixes for almost anything he plays out live.

He’s also well known for mixing several different genres into his live sets, touching on every corner of the EDM sphere allowing fans to get in the feels but also go crazy; always done at just the right times. He’s highly revered by many others in the scene and it would be a mistake to not see why for yourself.

Another big show coming through is the Subtronics Brooklyn Mirage Takeover on July 20 at everyone’s favorite music venue in Brooklyn. He’s bringing out all the stops for this one and has an absolutely massive lineup coming through for that single show. Subtronics produces the wonkiest and heaviest of bass music and has come a long way from his early days to consistently headlining festivals and running these top-of-the-line shows in numerous cities.

The visual production is always on point and his shows are consistentlyish. Joining him for this show will be Dirt Monkey, A Hundred Drums, Superave, Hol!, Austeria and several others. Most of these other artists pull big crowds for their own tours so it’s amazing they’re going to be all together in one place. And speaking of having all the best the fact that it’s so easily accessible to several of the boroughs. This may be the festival of the year so get on these tickets fast because this will 100% sell out.

Although not a new album, there’s been one recently that’s been taking me back to good old days of early dubstep and that is “A Dose of Nostalgia” by Tape B. This 5 song EP truly transports you back to the days when Flux Pavilion, Doctor P, and Cookie Monsta were out there making those super dark and mechanical wubs. Such

together in one place, that’s exactly what Electric Zoo is planning to do for NYC this year. Taking place over Labor Day weekend on Randall’s Island, yearly electronic festival EZoo dropped an absolutely star studded lineup as well as a cool new theme called “Hyperspace”. By the looks of it, a futuristic and space themed zoo is in store for this year’s event. I wouldn’t even have enough space to list all of the top acts here, but they span all across the EDM sphere. We’ve got 3 sets of Griz, HiLo, Liquid Stranger, Madeon, Nora En Pure, Zedd, Alison Wonderland, Big Gigantic, Chris Lake Summit back-to-back Dom Dolla, Matroda, Peekaboo, Acraze, ATLiens, and just about 100 more.

But seriously, this lineup is completely stacked. Once I saw it released, I knew they were gonna sell out fast and this would be one of the biggest and best Electric Zoo installments to date. Not to mention the fact that you’ve got the whole island pretty much to yourself with views of Manhattan. Randall’s Island is a special place and this festival is one I’ve been attending since 2012. It’s always fun to see how they outperform previous years and I love an iconic sound for the time and one that when heard, can be mistaken for no other. Songs like “Blaze” utilize the chopped up female vocals that were all too prevalent in this style of dubstep along with the low frequency oscillators that gave the shape and character to the genre and have evolved so much over time. This one is a true gem. Hope you enjoyed yourself this time and will be back for more next month! Reach out to me at richiegtechno@ gmail.com to give me your thoughts. Keep raging my friends.
