A Bakhtiari carpet, West Persia circa 1906 Inscribed: "To the order of the highness Mr. Nasser Vakikhan Monazam al Molk Bakhtiari in the year 1324." 23 ft. 8 in. x 14 ft. 7 in. Provenance: Chateau Montelena, Napa Valley, California. The Living Trust of Laura G. Barrett. Note: Chateau Montelena is a Napa Valley vineyard known for winning the "Judgment of Paris" wine competition in 1976, fictionalized in the 2008 film Bottle Shock. An autobiography about the competition was also written by Laura Barrett, former owner of Chateau Montelena winery.
