Tell us about your illustrations
My drawings are birthed organically with little or no premeditation. They have rather rich histories- some of them are unearthed from dreams, usually with little or no resemblance to the actual dream material because I dream vividly in synaesthesiac watercolors (but they persist in spirit). Some from fragments of verse, some from intense feelings, others just from the blank page which I think holds a pregnant potential in itself.
Cuentanos sobre tus ilustraciones Mis dibujos nacen de manera orgánica, con poca o ninguna premeditación; poseen trasfondos bastante ricos: algunos de ellos han sido exhumados de sueños (casi siempre con escaso o nulo parecido al material onírico en sí, puesto que sueño vívidamente en acuarelas sinestésicas, que perviven en esencia). Algunos surgen de fragmentos de versos o de intensos sentimientos; otros, de sentimientos intensos. Otros más, simplemente de la página en blanco que, pienso, esconde un potencial de fertilidad en sí misma.
