My name is Violeta and I am 18 years old. I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. 4 years ago I got obsessed with taking pictures with rolls, and I have been doing that since then. With few formal studies in photography but loads of self-taught instincts, I started to organize showings, with my friends, everywhere I was permitted to do so. I met a lot of people, and also explored the art circuit of Buenos Aires, always with a feeling of being a little bit of an outsider to it. My project deals with leaving a print of the different aspects of my life: adolescence, my friends, my boyfriend, my cat; and a bit with the city I live on, with its dreadful bars, beautiful but cold girls, rock bands and vintage cars on the street.
Mi nombre es Violeta y tengo 18 años.Vivo en Buenos Aires, Argentina. Hace 4 años me encapriché y desde entonces sólo saco fotos con fílmico. Con pocos estudios formales sobre fotografía pero muchos instintos autodidactas, empecé a organizar muestras en cada sitio en el que me dejaban con mis amigas y artistas que encontraba en internet. Conocí mucha gente, y también conocí el circuito de arte en Buenos Aires, del cual siempre me sentí un poco outsider. Mi proyecto se trata un poco sobre plasmar las etapas que voy viviendo, mi adolescencia, mis amigas, mi novio, mi gato; y otro poco sobre la ciudad en la que vivo, con todos sus bares de mala muerte, las chicas hermosas pero frías, las bandas de rock y los autos viejos en la calle.
