Esta serie nace de una fusión de ideas, colores y formas de lo más profundo, y no más profundo de mi psique; de un mundo casi de ensueño; distante y a la vez tan cercano a mi lucidez. Basada en gran parte en “Suspiria” una de las obras maestras de Dario Argento; la mujer, el color y la fantasía, pasados por un filtro de inocencia e ingenuidad adolescente. Buscaba la “mejor” manera de representar las fantasías, pesadillas, deseos y añoranzas de mi verdadero ser, o al menos el que se oculta bajo mi coraza.
This series is born from a fusion of thoughts, colours and shapes from the deepest regions of my psyche; an almost dream-like world, distant and, at the same time, close to my consciousness. Based largely in “Suspiria”, Dario Argento’s masterwork, woman, color and phantasy passed through a filter of innocence and teen ingenuity. I was in search for the “best” way of depicting fantasies, nightmares, wishes, and longings of my true self, or at least whatever lies under my crust.
