Second Place: Sherry Slaughter Buffalo Mountain taken on December of 2012, from a spot known locally as Indian Ridge, just off of Burks Fork Road in Willis. I live in Willis with my husband Dale Slaughter and we have 2 children, Haley & Duncan. To get the picture, I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Third Place: Kim Altizer This photo was taken on December 2012, right after an ice storm had passed through. I like this particular angle of Buffalo Mountain, because it really looks like a buffalo. The shot was taken on Burks Fork Road, a few miles from my parent’s house, Ward and Rosa Lee Bolt. I’ve always loved Buffalo Mountain and have hiked to the summit many times and now my children get to do the same. ~ Kim Altizer
