Taxis/Mietwagen

Taxistände gibt es am Flughafen, Hafen und in St. Helier. Je nach Tageszeit und Wochentag gelten unterschiedliche Tarife. Früher wurde Barzahlung bevorzugt, inzwischen akzeptieren alle Taxis auch Kartenzahlung. Wenn Sie sich nicht in der Nähe eines Taxistands befinden, können Sie auch private Miettaxis buchen. EvieElektroautos können mit der Evie-App freigeschaltet und gemietet werden.

Shopmobility provides mobility scooters, manual wheelchairs, rollators, Zimmer frames and other disability equipment for both daily hire and to hotels and private homes for disabled people. For daily use there is free parking in the lower ground floor of Sand Street car park. For overnight please book in advance to allow planning for delivery and retrieval.

Get to the beach!

Beachability is a charity providing specially designed manual, ballooned wheel chairs for use on the beach and other rough terrain. Beachability chairs are available for anyone that needs help with their mobility at no cost and can be booked out for up to three hours. Users should be able to transfer onto the chair and should be accompanied by a helper. A hoist is also available for those who are not able to transfer.

Beachability est une organisation caritative qui fournit des fauteuils roulants manuels spécialement conçus pour une utilisation sur la plage et sur d’autres terrains accidentés. Des chaises Beachability sont disponibles gratuitement pour toute personne ayant besoin d’aide pour sa mobilité et peuvent être réservées jusqu’à trois heures. Les utilisateurs doivent pouvoir se transférer sur la chaise et doivent être accompagnés d’une aide. Un treuil est également disponible pour ceux qui ne peuvent pas se déplacer.

Ab an den Strand! BeachAbility ist eine Wohltätigkeitsorganisation, die speziell entwickelte manuelle Rollstühle mit Ballonreifen für den Einsatz am Strand und in unwegsamem Gelände anbietet. BeachAbility-Rollstühle stehen allen, die Hilfe bei ihrer Mobilität benötigen, kostenlos zur Verfügung und können für bis zu drei Stunden gebucht werden. Die Benutzer sollten in der Lage sein, sich auf den Stuhl zu setzen, und sollten von einer Hilfsperson begleitet werden. Für Personen, die nicht in der Lage sind, sich auf den Stuhl zu setzen, steht auch ein Lifter zur Verfügung.
