“Summer days, drifting away…” Just like in the Summer Nights song, summertime is a moment to let the days pass by in a relaxing and enjoyable way – leave the worries and rushed days for the other months of the year. Even though you still might have to go to work, enjoy the evenings and weekends by going for a massage or discovering a new dining spot – don’t miss out on our spa and dining lists with the most fabulous offers in Doha this month. But also, it’s a time to be spent with family and friends, and what is the best way to do that? By cooking exciting new dishes for them! We invited a few chefs to share their favourite summer recipes with us that you can reproduce at home to impress your loved ones. Get cooking!

We bring a selection of summertime wear and beauty products to help you unveil your best laid-back style and glow during the hottest time of the year. Our spa spotlight brings a rejuvenating HydraFacial treatment at Ozone Gym & Spa, La Cigale Hotel, Doha. As fashion is one of our favourite subjects, we had an interesting chat with Sonali Raman, a professor at VCUarts Qatar, about her career and the importance of sustainability in this industry. Inspired by our food issue, our homes page focuses on the kitchen, how to improve it, and the trends to be embraced.

And as summer is a great time to take a break, we headed to the Maldives to explore one of the newest properties available, Avani+ Fares Maldives Resort. We had a fabulous time and highly recommend you go to paradise and back; it will do more good to you than you can ever expect.

We dined at Al Sultan Brahim at Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel for a Lebanese feast and drove the electrifying Porsche Taycan.

Enjoy your summer reading!
