Bang & Olufsen have launched the new Beosound A5 – a high-end Bluetooth speaker with the latest acoustic advancements in one compact package.

The speaker has a two-way setup with four drivers and boasts the company’s most powerful woofer in any of their portable speakers. The device comes with the automated loudspeaker setup feature RoomSense, that adapts playback based on users’ space to provide the finest sonic fidelity. It includes wi-fi and Bluetooth connectivity with Beolink Multiroom functionality. The Beosound A5 is capable of 12 hours of playtime on a charge. The top panel includes a built-in Qi wireless charger for additional devices. The speaker is portable with its IP65 construction making it dustproof, water resistant and durable. The exquisite design takes its inspiration from Bang & Olufsen’s Beolit series, as well as natural materials synonymous with the colours and textures found in Scandinavian nature. Designed in collaboration with GamFratesi Studio, it comes in two styles – Natural Weave and Dark Oak. Aluminium trimmings add a tactile experience. Additionally, the speaker’s modular design allows for it to be easily serviced and repaired to extend its lifetime, and users also have the option to exchange the front covers. The hardware is paired with Bang & Olufsen’s Mozart platform.

It seamlessly connects over wi-fi and allows users to enjoy their favourite streaming services. The device is also compatible with speakers that support Chromecast or AirPlay 2. ✤
