Ember launches the first self-warming baby bottle system to assist parents.

Ember, a technology company that creates, designs and develops temperature-control products, has launched the Ember Baby Bottle System that warms milk or formula at the touch of a button. The device ensures safe and even warming using convection current technology along with triple-check safety features. Multiple sensors detect temperature and liquid levels, to ensure every bottle is warmed precisely and at just the right heat to preserve nutrients while eliminating hotspots. The system includes two 175-ml bottles which are ergonomically designed and dishwasher safe. An insulating thermal dome keeps milk cool at home or on-the-go for around four hours until you’re ready to heat it. A smart warming puck warms the bottle wherever you are with a charge capacity for two feedings. The puck features LED lights that indicate when the milk is warming and also displays the battery life status for extra convenience. All parts of the baby bottle system that come into contact with milk or formula are made from BPA-free materials, found in various types of plastics, and are food safe. Additionally, the system comes with an accompanying Ember Baby app that provides users an integrated smart solution to assist with preparing, tracking and monitoring feedings as well as the baby’s growth.

Capture golden moments with the Instax Mini 12 – the latest in Fujifilm's lineup of entry-level instant cameras.

The Mini 12 comes in a compact and cute balloon-like design that’s loaded with easy-to-use modes and controls. The camera has the Instax feature that allows users to produce photo prints on the spot, making for a fun way to snap photographs.

Accessing functions is simple as users can twist the lens to turn the camera on, twist again for the close-up mode – that’s ideal for distances of 30cm to 50cm making it perfect for selfies – and then, a third twist turns the device off. The Mini 12 features include the popular Automatic Exposure function from the earlier model, in which the camera automatically determines the correct exposure for a given scene.

This is the first entry-level Instax to have a function that prevents discrepancies between the viewfinder field that you look through while clicking and the actual printout area, in close-ups. When taking a selfie, the Selfie Mirror beside the lens can be used to check the composition of a finished print while shooting. Additionally, the new Instax Up app helps users store all their photos digitally, in one place. They can simply scan their physical Instax photos with a smartphone to turn them into sharable, digital photos that can be edited, tagged and saved. The camera is available in five playful colours: Pastel Blue, Mint Green, Blossom Pink, Lilac Purple and Clay White. ✤
