In fact, you’ve gained 50 HP, 100 XP and the legendary item Student Voice in just three sentences. How awesome is that! What’s next up for our new hero(ine)? COUNT ME IN! LEGENDARY JOURNEY
You and your squad embark on a relentless twoyear journey to attain the Talent Development Stone. Legend has it that it leads youth like yourself to become PM, go public on NASDAQ, speak to millions (billions?) on TED, and improve the lives of those less fortunate than yourself. Braving treacherous weather and icy slopes, you fall and you get up again and again, each time keeping your resolve and your hair perfectly styled. But even the bravest of warriors lose their way or in this case get stuck in a massive ice storm. No worries! At this point you summon your Life Coach — a subject teacher, CCA teacher or maybe a school leader — who helps you discover the path. What’s important to you? What are the obstacles? How do we get back on track? You know you best, so your Life Coach walks with you towards a clearer, more beautiful view of life. Several sasquatches and avalanches later, you and your squad finally reach base camp. Phew!!! This has been a seriously life-changing semester.

Yet it all looks strangely colourless, like a colouring book for youthful adults missing the unique colourway you can give. ‘Sweet,’ you say, ‘but sweeter with colour!’ Putting down shield and armour, you pick up the Brush of Beautiful Thinking™ and proceed to channel your inner Michelangelo — the painter of course. This magical canvas is yours.
Needing some quiet time from the exploration, you enter the fabled Eunoia Library™, which isn’t really a library at all. It is powered by this cutting edge technology known as the Human Imagination... and many neat tools too. Opening the door, you find the place filled to the brim with cool stuff. There are Lego kits, robotics kits, science research kits, make-yourown-kit kits, 3D printers, mind-blowing research material, iMacs and seriously legit furniture. You can even teleport to a nearby Art Studio, Music Elective Programme practice rooms, a jamming studio with brand new instruments and a Makerspace named Eureka. Eureka indeed!!

You spend about five minutes on this monumental task. And in 244 deft strokes to the left, right, bottom-left and top-right, you create an absolute masterpiece. Voila! C’est tres magnifique! È bellissimo! And so order is restored to the Eunoia Library™, except that this new world order looks like beautiful thinking in the making.

PASSION PURSUIT 14
It is Deep Dive Day, one of eight days in the school calendar that dedicate time to deep reflection and wide exploration. The perfect occasion to board the Jules Cousteau submarine and dive deep to encounter the magic of undersea life, don’t you think? For today’s ambitious expedition, you have decided to pursue the mythical creature named Passion.
Enamoured by new sights you may be, you still feel utterly exhausted after eight hours of nonstop searching. Just as you are about to give in, you hear your crew yell ‘There!’ at the top of their lungs, at the bottom of the ocean. Your eyes gradually converge on its luminous skin, which seems to grow brighter. The gleaming eyes of this creature dazzle yours. How wondrous!!
Everyone has heard of Passion, but few have seen it. Your committed and ecstatic crew journey closer and closer to the sea bed. One thousand, five thousand, ten thousand, twenty thousand feet (remember to breathe!) beneath the surface, you see no glimpse of Passion. What you do find in the Eunoia ecosystem is over thirty fantastic, colourful CCAs that open your eyes to who you are and can be. Going deeper, Internships and Externships give you a close-up shot of your possible career paths. Also on your radar are the Liberal Arts Programme and STEM Research Programme which promise multi-disciplinary approaches to new ideas and problems. But where, or what, is Passion?
Within seconds, the creature vanishes from your line of sight. Its rapidity astonishes you. Its outline never abandons your memory. Your blood goes from frozen to passionately burning. The pursuit of Passion is never in vain.

ACTION Held smart device literacy classes for senior citizens at Buona Vista Community Club. On the way home, collected and delivered food to needy residents in the Bishan and Ang Mo Kio neighbourhoods with your CCA mates.
ENVIRONMENTAL LITERACY Captured seven species of spiders (only in photos, be nice) along the Green Corridor with your Biology classmates, shared them on the Eunoia environment app, and did a little research for your PW project on biodiversity!
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT Conducted a tour around Ghim Moh for members of the public, introducing them to the magnificent food and the friendly residents in the estate. Put the finishing touches to your community photo exhibition project. Struck a conversation with two elderly aunties who have lived in Holland Village for the past forty years. Learned lots about the history of the place in the process.
Tutored secondary school students in Additional Math and English at Ulu Pandan Study Centre after a long day in school.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Ran 500 kilometres with Eder house at Road Run to raise funds for the needy. Ended with a mass dance-off!
Shared a few Ultimate tricks with juniors and played a game or two. Maybe three?

FLY HIGH TO THE MIDDLE KINGDOM You travel with the joint Bicultural Studies Programme and Humanities Programme contingent. A fearsome dragon (aren’t they all?) attacks you in the Gobi desert. No fear. You use your cultural prowess to tame it, tickle it and train it into a new bosom buddy. Everybody in school now thinks you are cool like that Targaryen girl. But no one can match your love for dragons.
UNITE WITH FRIENDS AT THE OLD KINGDOM You wander through quaint university cities and counties, soaking in the air of sophistication (+20 intelligence) and ancient wisdom (+10 research). While you can’t stop thinking about the whole town, the visit to the same labs embryonic stem cells were discovered has you in absolute awe. You can’t wait to share the experience with your Science Olympiad friends!
BUILD TIES ALL ACROSS ASIA You spread the seed of goodwill to all and harvest deep friendships. You taught your newfound friends new things but learned even more from them. Returning home with a heavy heart, you promise yourself to visit them every year.
READY FOR THE WORLD VIA EUNOIA You don’t need to go overseas to meet the world. You play host to guests from Norway, Mongolia and Brazil at a World Readiness Programme dinner for ten on our sunny shores. Hearing their stories of penguin sightings, of starting a school in the hills and of engineering new sustainable crops, you feel so inspired you register an NGO of your own. Look out, world!

Finally, you made it to the end of this brochure! For surviving the trials, tribulations and truly zealous storytelling, you deserve a pat on the back. Spoiler alert: the story is only just beginning. We couldn’t cram everything into 24 pages, and you’ll have to experience some things for yourself.
