The “Wall of Lies”

The Berlin Wall leaked news from the West and it finally crumbled. Putin’s “Wall of Lies” is sturdier and mostly impenetrable at this most crucial juncture.

Thus, Putin’s popularity is not plunging to new lows from its over 80% approval rate on his invasion and annexation of Crimea. Although new polls may not accurately reflect the genuine attitudes about the invasion of Ukraine, it’s still likely that about half of the country approves of the “special military operation” to “de-nazify” Ukraine and believe that the West is responsible for the conflict. This has been the harangue from the Kremlin domestically and for audiences abroad.
