Mister Brook Burger, a company serving 100 per cent halal burgers in San Pedro, recently celebrated the first Marbella Burger Festival. A myriad of wooden boats filled with smoking sardines on skewers added colour and life to the Playa de Carihuela in Torremolinos, during the eighth edition of the Concurso de Espetos Costa del Sol (the Costa del Sol Espetos Competition). Over 20 professional espeteros (espeto cooks) took part in the event. THE WORLD HAM COMPETITION RECEIVES OVER 500,000 VISITS

The seventh edition of The World Ham Competition took place recently on Estepona’s Paseo Marítimo, drawing a huge crowd of over half a million visitors and featuring over 50 exhibitors and 150 ham slicers from across Spain. Organiser, José María Téllez, was delighted with the outcome, noting that around 2,000 ham legs from the very best Iberian brands were consumed.
