Peter Jackson presents The Beatles: Get Back – a threepart documentary series about the making of the Beatles’ iconic 1970 album, Let It Be. Drawing from material originally recorded for a documentary directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg, it counters the myth that the recording of this album was marked by animosity between John Lennon and Paul McCartney. The film is based on over 55 hours of footage and will feature the unforgettable rooftop concert.

“You have to disturb the peace when you can’t get no peace,” uttered Aretha Franklin, arguably one of the most powerful voices to hit the music scene. This film tells the story of her life – from her early beginnings in her father’s church choir right through her struggles as a musician and finally, the sweet sound of international stardom. Her song Respect (which was actually an empowered version of the Otis Redding track) garnered the singer the first two of many Grammy awards but as early as the age of 14, she had already recorded her first tracks.

Shang-Chi, who is both powerful and vulnerable at once, must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the clandestine Ten Rings organisation. The film also stars Tony Leung as Wenwu (Shang-Chi’s father and head of the Ten Rings), Awkwafina as Katy (Shang-Chi’s comical friend) and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan (a guardian of a mythical city).
