Model Spotlight: Meet Yeakaterina Prokosheva

INTERVIEW WITH YEAKATERINA PROKOSHEVA

Yeakaterina “Katie” Prokosheva is a medical assistant who is very passionate about helping others feel their very best, inside and out. She loves to model when she has time off to let her creative side shine. Katie loves to travel and explore unique beautiful places. Her life goal is to always share kindness with everyone and inspire others to do the same.

I would definitely have to say my piercing bright blue eyes, along with my European facial structure and wine color hair all comes together to create a beautiful, unique look.

I would say practice makes perfect! Become good friends with your mirror. Often times before a shoot, I will practice different poses in front of the mirror to make sure that I’m ready for one the camera is working. Also, learn to use The lighting source to your advantage. Good lighting and the way that you pose with it can make or break a photograph. I would absolutely love to mentor young models. I love to share my tips and tricks with everyone.

I would definitely tell myself to seek a true relationship with God. Once you have a relationship with God everything else falls into place. We humans tend to over complicate our lives but God knows exactly who are were created to be. Once we follow that, life is not so stressful, it has so much purpose. We all have a unique and beautiful purpose. Unfortunately, many of us don’t find it because we don’t know how to look for it. That’s why it’s so important to have a personal relationship with Christ.

I’m most excited to be a mother one day, hopefully in the next few years. That will always be my priority once I have children. I would love to write an encouraging book sharing my life story and how I overcame deep trauma from my childhood. It would be an absolute honor to mentor other women, so I’d love to somehow become a part of a women’s ministry. My Ultimate goal is to always learn and be a better version of myself than I was the previous day.

On the weekend I spend time with my Husband, photo shoots, explore somewhere or read a book. I also attend church, spend time with family and friends.

I’d have to say the creative part of it, seeing every single detail of my vision come to life. It’s like a painting but in picture form. My mind is constantly putting together ideas wherever I go for the next shoot.
