o, this issue isn’t devoted to Fido. What it is devoted to is everything that makes Summer more beautiful fun and enjoyable. In the pages of this issue you will find landscaping tips for easy care flower bed options. A wonderful BBQ recipe to enjoy with friends. Welcoming DIY inexpensive wreath ideas, great summer fashion and much, much more... Also we are proud to announce the Community Seeds Foundation which is a non-profit charitable fund concentrated on donating and giving back to Butte, Glenn, and Tehama counties. 1% of all profits from the Eco Community Seeds magazine will be going directly to the foundation in order to support and better our local communities. The foundation supports local rescued farm animals including sheep, pigs, cattle, and chickens. It helps keep family farmers in the area on their land by promoting food from their farms and helping their farms thrive. We will also donate to feeding the hungry through member food banks and engaging the community in the fight to end hunger. The foundation will also help provide hairpieces to local financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hair loss of any diagnosis. As well as supporting Natural Abundance Programs such as donating hair and money to create buoys to soak up oil spills in the ocean.

The profits will also go to assisting animals in areas of conflict and disaster and protecting animals that are in risk. It supports rescued abandoned domestic cats within the greater Chico urban area. Lastly, the foundation will give to the practice of healing massage therapy that tailors to the specific needs of their clients. As always we are always moving and shaking around here and we are always working on ways that we can contribute to the community.
