Frugal House
he fifth annual Frugal House was held in Chico, CA and took place inside a brand new Epick home (20 Abbott Circle) in The Orchard Home development off Eaton Road June 6th, 7th and 8th. This is the North State Symphony’s largest Fundraiser. Chico State University interior design students are teaming up with decorating duos, also known as “Partners in Design” to offer ticketholders incredible, affordable, restyled household items and creative “D-I-Y” decorating ideas. The Frugal House is truly about stainability at its best. The furnishings are all donated and then restored to like new or better than new condition. Everything is then put up for sale or auction, except the house! - By Lorianne Riley

Chico Masters

onday, August 4th is the 17th annually held Chico Masters. The Golf tournament is almost always a sold out event with the proceeds going to The Boys and Girls Club. There is over 50 volunteers that donated their time to make sure that this worth while event is pulled off without a hitch.
