It was one of those nights where you and your friend start craving shawarma from Mama Noura but it's so crowded that you lose your interest and crave cheap take away mystery Asian food instead. So we went to a place nearby called Teriyaki Grill. The name was simple enough to attract us since we love teriyaki sauce and grilled food, so two of those combined can't be missed, we figured. We took a quick peek at the menu and instantly ordered a sample of chicken, beef, shrimp with rice and noodles, of the teriyaki kind of course.
And we ordered shrimp spring rolls on the side. We only noticed they served beef and chicken teriyaki subs after we’d ordered... Hmm. Next time maybe. Anyway, our food arrived in cheap takeaway plates, the portions and prices were good. We dig in, we destroy, then we discuss the food. We both said “meh.” We wouldn’t come here again. It’s too oily and almost tasteless. Where's that teriyaki flavor we wanted? *Wipes teriyaki sauce off cheek.* Opening hours: from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. except on Fridays where they open from 1 p.m. – 12 a.m. They provide free delivery if you live nearby.
