to commemorate hundreds of years of tradition from the village of Rijal Alma. While celebrating artistic production, the event also focused on the role women play in preserving the cultural identity of their communities, especially those marginalized within their societies. The exhibited artwork acted as a shedding light to the endangered role of women within the rural areas of Saudi Arabia. The exhibition also shed light on Saudi’s bid to recognize Rijal Alma’s village as an official UNESCO World Heritage site.
