envoyé personnel du Secrétaire Général des Nations unies pour le Sahara, Christopher Ross, a eu, mardi 19 mars à Madrid, un entretien avec le secrétaire d’Etat espagnol aux Affaires étrangères, Gonzalo de Benito. Christopher Ross a ensuite entrepris une visite au Maroc, qui s’est déroulée du 20 au 24 mars 2013.

Le président de la Chambre des représentants, Karim Ghellab a eu un entretien avec Christopher Ross, le jeudi 21 mars. M. Ghellab a indiqué que l’évolution de la sécurité dans la région confirme «la justesse de la position du Maroc qui a longtemps attiré l’attention de la communauté internationale sur les dangers guettant cette région et qui nécessitent de fédérer les efforts pour y asseoir la stabilité politique». Au cours de sa rencontre avec M. Ross, jeudi 21 mars, le Chef du Gouvernement, Abdelilah Benkirane, a fait part de la ferme volonté du Maroc de contribuer à l’édification du grand Maghreb arabe et de garantir les conditions de sécurité, de stabilité et de bien-être aux peuples de la région.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Karim Ghellab met Christopher Ross, on Thursday 21 March. Mr. Ghellab pointed out that the security development in the region confirms «the soundness of Morocco’s position that has long attracted the attention of the international community about the dangers threatening this region and requiring joint efforts to build political stability». During his meeting with Mr. Ross, on Thursday 21 March, the Head of Government, Abdelilah Benkirane, has expressed Morocco’s strong commitment to contribute to the building of the Great Arab Maghreb and to ensure the security, stability and well-being of the peoples of the region.
