Ancient Bog Oak blanks are from the Fens in England and are between 4-6,000 years old. The wood was buried in peat bogs which preserved it from decaying and left it in its earliest stages of fossilization. Hybridz pen blanks are meticulously hand-crafted from Banksia Pod, Buckeye Hybridz Mallee Black Burl, Australian Mallee Burl, Pine Cone, Chechen Burl, Mopane Driftwood, and cast in various colored resins. The high pressure process penetrates the pores and voids in the burl. You’ll find these blanks easy to turn as this Alumilite resin PHMAL-BLK limits chip out. No two blanks are alike.
