In continuità con l’importanza da sempre attribuita alla fotografia nella comunicazione della propria filosofia della luce, Artemide rinnova la sua immagine con la nuova campagna fotografica di Pierpaolo Ferrari. “Cercavo una scelta di continuità nel racconto attraverso la fotografia ma al tempo stesso di rottura nel rispetto del maestro Elliott Erwitt, e in Pierpaolo ho trovato un’espressività forte ma al tempo stesso molto lontana dal linguaggio di Erwitt.” Carlotta de Bevilacqua Quello di Pierpaolo Ferrari è un totale cambio di linguaggio espressivo che dà un punto di vista assolutamente contemporaneo sui prodotti Artemide grazie all’utilizzo deciso e caratterizzante del colore, all’intervento artistico che si esprime non solo attraverso lo scatto della realtà ma anche attraverso una sua interpretazione più libera. “ Dal punto di vista estetico, un filo conduttore del lavoro con Artemide è cercare la semplicità - racconta Pierpaolo Ferrari - in queste foto ad esempio lavoro introducendo piccoli elementi, una mela, un uccellino, una nota musicale… L’obiettivo è riuscire a eliminare qualsiasi distrazione, ma nello stesso tempo cercare di rendere l’immagine il più possibile magnetica.

Si può dire che trattiamo l’oggetto, in questo caso la lampada, come se fosse una modella o un modello, comunque come una persona. In fondo sono sempre dei ritratti. Una cosa che faccio anche nelle fotografie di moda è cercare di fare in modo che venga fuori la personalità del modello o della modella. Sono sempre in un certo senso alla ricerca dell’anima del soggetto. Perché poi è come se ne riconoscessi la personalità e secondo me il design è proprio quello.”

Artemide Target Point è un sistema di apparecchi e sensori che aprono un dialogo tra la luce desiderata e progettata e l’ambiente circostante. Il target sono i parametri ambientali, un concetto che va al di là di un valore normativo di illuminamento o resa cromatica. Valorizza come l’uomo vive lo spazio, mette in relazione diversi fenomeni e la loro percezione.
