Cinderella A Love Story

by

Once upon a time there

was a young woman who lived alone in a barren forest. She toiled day after day, keeping her home in the trees swept neat and tidy. tid Although she didn’t have much, she liked to keep her home pretty. Her only visitors were the little creatures of the forest whom she called friends. At night she would sit by the fire to keep herself warm, her threadbare clothing sometimes becoming smudged with cinders and ash from the fire. She was called Cinderella. Cinde

Every day, Cinderella would dream of walking in a lush garden where flowers bloomed, birds sang, and water trickled over the rocks in a running stream. She envisioned herself dressed in a beautiful gown, laughing, smiling, and walking hand in hand with her true love. She hoped and wished her dream would come true. But as she looked down at her tattered clothing, she wondered how this could be possible. After all, her clothes were so worn they had fallen into shreds. She felt sad and alone.

As Cinderella sat one morning, all of a sudden a thick mist crept in, surrounding her. Out of the mist appeared a beautiful woman in a shimmering gown. Moving toward Cinderella, the woman reached out her wand, and with a loving gaze said “ I am your fairy godmother and have heard hea your wishes and seen your dreams.” “I will grant you your wish but there is one condition. You must leave before nightfall.” “When you hear the hoot of the owl, you must quickly go before your clothing turns into rags.”

“I’ve asked your friends, the creatures of the forest to create a beautiful gown for you, adorned with the flowers you dream of.” Just then a bluebird flew to Cinderella, perched on her hand, and sang to her a beautiful song. “ I wish you well” Said her Fairy Godmother. And disappeared disappea into the mist.

Suddenly Cinderella found herself in a place even more beautiful than she had imagined! The lushness of the garden made her ga feel joyful. She was no longer dressed in rags. The creatures had magically created a lovely gown for her, adorned with beaded flowers. They even pinned up her hair. She looked and felt beautiful. Meanwhile, a dashing man was also enjoying the lush garden, out for a morning walk.

As she walked through the garden, she was so distracted by the beauty surrounding her that she nearly missed the handsome man who, while passing by, noticed her. Their eyes met and she turned back to see him face to face. They couldn’t take their eyes off each other. He was charming. And best of all, he made her laugh.

They walked and talked together for hours. Although they had just met, she felt that she had known him forever. He spotted a patch of wildflowers growing along the path. Gathering a bouquet for her, he took her hand as they stepped across a bridge crossing the stream. st She wished this day would never end.

Suddenly she heard the hoot of the owl, warning her of nightfall.. She had only moments before befo her clothes would return to rags. She had no time to explain. As she gathered up her dress d to rush off, the heel of her shoe caught between the boards of the bridge. She ran away, leaving her shoe and the bouquet of flowers behind...

He stood looking after her, bewildered.

Suddenly he appeared, shoe in hand. He slipped the shoe on her foot,

They walked together, wrapped in each other’s arms. And lived happily ever after.
