Causeway Director Lila Neugebauer’s feature debut is a somber-toned psychological drama that examines the bonds of budding friendships and shared trauma. After suffering a traumatic brain injury while serving in Afghanistan, Lynsey (Jennifer Lawrence) reluctantly returns to her hometown where she struggles to adjust to a normal life. While grappling with restlessness, Lynsey befriends James (Brian Tyree Henry), a disabled mechanic with a painful past.
Sidney Reginald Hudlin directs this documentary about Sidney Poitier, who in 1964 became the first Black man to win an Academy Award. Using narration taken from an interview between Poitier and producer Oprah Winfrey, the film takes an indepth look at his life and career from leading man to key figure in the civil rights movement. The film is also told by those he influenced most, including Denzel Washington, Morgan Freeman, Robert Redford and Halle Berry.

Faced with a growing concern for his ailing mother after a 40-year absence, Felice (Pierfrancesco Favino) returns to his hometown of Naples to take care of her. During his visit, Felice reconnects with his former best friend only to learn that the friend has turned into a coldhearted gangster.

The Good Nurse Academy Award winners Eddie Redmayne and Jessica Chastain star in this true crime thriller examining the life and downfall of a serial killer nurse. Nurse Amy Loughren (Chastain) develops a strong friendship with co-worker Charlie Cullen (Redmayne), but a series of mysterious patient deaths forces Loughren to see who Cullen really is. The Good Nurse marks the first English language film for Danish director Tobias Lindholm.

Noah Baumbach wrote and directed this black comedy based on the 1985 novel by Don DeLillo. The film also stars Don Cheadle, Jodie TurnerSmith and André 3000.

Rajamouli co-wrote and directed this fictionalized Indian Telugulanguage epic about two real-life historic revolutionary leaders and the fight against the British Raj. RRR is reportedly the most expensive Indian film ever made.
