The Blue at Hickory W, 17-6 Devils’ only losses last fall came to PIAA Class 2A at Iroquois W, 64-6 runner-up Wilmington and OHSAA Division 5 Manchester (Ohio) L, 21-52 quarterfinalist Manchester from Akron. Greenville* W, 61-6 Sharpsville brings back seven starters on both sides of the ball, but the Blue Devils had some big graduation losses, including Virginia recruit at Sharon at Lakeview* W, 23-21 W, 73-0 JaQuay Hubbard, one of the top linemen in the Conneaut (Ohio) W, 32-28 state, along with quarterback Nick Alexander and Wilmington* L, 14-48 running back Kobe Joseph. The three leave big at West Middlesex W, 35-19 holes to fill along with fellow all-region selections Luke Levis (wide receiver, defensive back), Max Messett (wide receiver), Joe Bornes (tight end, defensive line), Drew Gordon (defensive line), DISTRICT 10 PLAYOFFS Northwestern W, 55-6 Wilmington L, 7-50 Michael Herman (kicker) and Ben Henwood *Region 4 game (defensive back). Alexander threw for 2,234 yards and 21 touchdowns last fall. Joseph ran for 1,196 yards and 24 touchdowns and Levis caught 48 2018LEADERS passes for 693 yards and seven TDs. Bornes had 25 catches for 452 yards and three TDs, while Joseph caught 23 passes for 249 yards and four TDs and Messett had 22 catches for 429 yards and four TDs.
